Reese Wilson

After years of playing clubs and venues in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas and Kansas, as well as other states within the region, Reese moved to Nashville in 1991 and was signed immediately to an exclusive publishing deal with Hamstein/Stroudavarious publishing, who, at the time, managed and published acts such as ZZ Top and Clint Black.

He began his writing career with a cut on the Tracy Lawrence “Alibis” album called “Don’t Talk To Me That Way” and soon thereafter garnered many cuts on artists such as Clay Walker, Diamond Rio, Neal McCoy, Tim McGraw, Reba McEntire and Exile along with many others.

As of this writing, he has songs recorded on over 53,000,000 records, 2 #1 singles She Can’t Say I Didn’t Cry by Rick Trevino and Not On Your Love by Jeff Carson (both the only #1 singles they ever received), several top 10 singles including “It’s All In Your Head” by Diamond Rio and “Places I’ve Never Been” by Mark Wills and several top 20 and 40 cuts.

He has 3 “millionaire” awards through BMI, meaning his singles have received at least a million airplays and is highly respected across the country and has performed in nearly every state plus done shows overseas including England, Ireland, Mexico, Canada, France and the Bahamas.
